Many practitioners have a reluctance to work on babies, partly through unfamiliarity but also through lack of knowledge of how to treat them. The workshop aims to increase confidence in treating babies and to help the practitioner understand the appropriate application of Bowen procedures to babies.

Workshop Title: ‘Hidden Pearls’

Sunday and Monday 6th & 7th June 2010, Peterborough

Tom Bowen had this innate intelligence that guided him to understand the body with his hands. He used this gift to develop the procedures that would help the body to reset and rebalance itself.

The ‘Hidden Pearls’ are the explanation of the Bowen procedures with an anatomical view: not only will we see the musculoskeletal anatomy, but also the relation of the moves with the fasciae, the nervous system and the lymphatic system.

Clinical Assessment and Palpation Skills Workshop

This course is designed primarily for practitioners who have recently qualified to give them more confidence in relating to clients, giving feedback and working with difficult cases. It gives tools for assessment, palpation and relaying findings to clients in order to boost confidence on both sides.

The course is largely practical (hands-on) with a small theoretical component

Specialised Bowen Procedures 1

Part one of the specialised Bowen Procedures Course. The procedures in this course may be helpful for the more persistent and unusual symptoms that clients present with, that have not fully responded to the basic work. These procedures are very dynamic and often invoke a whole body response. It is therefore necessary to assess accurately when to employ them. Very few of them are appropriate for use in a first treatment.
